The bathroom benefited from antique flooring

Posted by admin

Most people never think of putting a wood floor down in the bathroom, but I think it is a really great idea, as long as you have a row of vinyl tiles or some other waterproof material around the bathtub itself to protect the floor from splashes. Last year I decided to give the bathroom a bit of a make over, and as part of this I decided to fit Antique Flooring, and by that I mean antique wood flooring, for most of the bathroom floor. I think it looks absolutely great, because the dark wood of the floor really does add a great contrast to the light porcelain tiles and the white porcelain of the bathtub.
