A charitable foundation will fill our golden years with purpose

We didn’t know what direction to take as retirement age began to loom large before us. We have always tried to divide time between our family and our business. However, as the children grew up and left home, we thoguht the gap that we knew would be left would be filled by our business interests. As time went on and new technologies came into play, we found that our type of business was on the way out. At least we had the good sense to realize it. We have wound up the business and now sold off our properties. With the proceeds we intend to set up our own charitable foundation. We are convinced that we will fill our retirement days with all kinds of activity based around the charities that we intend to support.
