Work Via For China

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

I wonder why but as a journalist I always had this deep fascination for China and the people out there. I didn't have the faintest idea that one day I would be actually going out there and taking interviews. My office sent me to China for interview purposes. Obviously I needed a china work visa. I was a bit unsure and wary of the visa process. But to my delight the procedure was very short and got completed without any hassles. The J1 and the J2 visas are needed for journalists not of Chinese origin. The J2 visa was for those who enter the country for interview related work. I applied for the J2 visa and within few days I was in sitting in the plane leaving for China.
