Researching Electron Microscopy Science

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

I really need to learn more about
Electron Microscopy Science. I’ve run into a bit of a snag in my research, though.
There are a lot of sites that offer at least some info on Electron Microscopy Costs and Benefits, for example. It’s hard to know which to trust, though.
Selling an electron microscope to my school has been difficult - it’s a big investment, and info is thin because of the small market.
At some point I’m just going to have to decide. Hopefully I’ll make the right choice.
Ok - that’s it for today.

Garmin C340 Gps: The Pros

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

The C340 GPS from Garmin has caught the eye of many, courtesy- some of its positive highlights that make this gadget a must have. One of the most favorable attributes of the Garmin C340 GPS is its excellent screen. Unlike many other GPS modules, the C340 can easily be transported into another vehicle with the use of a suction cup mount. Even if you take the device out of the car, you will not face a problem as the device has an internal battery for support. The acquisition time is generally quick so you wont have to really wait for long. An excellent voice navigation, fast route relocation, easy storage are some other positive highlights of the C340.

Will I Reach An Audience? - Business Intelligence

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

I am debating whether to self-publish a book. I have a lot of different ideas but I am concerned about what might sell. With an initial investment of $1500, is important to me that I write something that will reach a receptive audience. I was considering writing a non-fiction book on documenting my knowledge gained while working for Alpena business intelligence. It is actually an interesting subject, but the concern is how to market such a book. Do businesses that use these types of services buy books that are not available in stores? Perhaps I should start with a fiction thriller or something for children and if it becomes successful try my hand at something a bit more technical for a niche market. I am undecided right now; perhaps I should do a bit more research.

MCSE Brain Dump Dilemma

Monday, July 14th, 2008

Seems like unethical people are selling online copies of MCSE certification questions.  You'll usually see these from countries other than the U.S. since Microsoft successfully sued a U.S. based mcse brain dump opportunist.  People buy these braindumps as a cramming tool; rather than actually know the subject under question, they're buying the answers to specific questions.

Regarding Project Scheduling Software

Monday, July 7th, 2008

I think we need to invest in some
Project Scheduling Software soon. Our manual scheduling efforts just aren’t efficient enough to keep everything on track.
Finding the right
UDA Estimating Software is difficult. We have a very limited budget to work with, so we need to get it right the first time.
I’m skeptical, but hope that it will be worth the investment of money and effort.
More on this soon.

A great way to safeguard laptop data

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

Portable computers often have sensitive data that needs to be kept secure. In the event that theft or the computer is lost it can create potential problems for the individual or corporation. One of the best ways to safeguard a computer is by using some sort of access control to prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to data. A unique solution that caters to this is a biometric notebook. By setting up the system so that only authorized personnel can gain access to the system it safeguards sensitive data in the event that it gets lost or stolen.

We are a teaching hospital, so we use video borescopes all the time.

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

I am a surgeon in a teaching hospital. We use video borescopes all the time. Surgeons, including me, use the borescopes during surgery, then the instructors use the videotapes during their lectures. Our medical school has taught some of the greatest doctors in the country, and we feel it is due to our teaching methods. When students are able to see what is being explained to them, they get a better idea of what the instructor is describing.
