Sometimes this is achieved using an external test house which evaluates the product and its documentation.

Something similar, the E mark, is used on motor vehicles and their components.

My Experiences With Charitable Unitrusts

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

I’ve been investigating
Charitable Unitrusts lately, and discovered that they’re a great way to save on taxes while supporting charity.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about Planned Giving in particular. Frankly, the more I can give to the humane society, and the less to the IRS, the better.
The hardest part will be dividing the funds among the various charities I want to support.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Thoughts On Charitable Unitrusts

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I hate paying taxes and love supporting charity, so it seems to me that a
Charitable Unitrusts is an ideal solution.
From what I can tell from my research on
Living Trusts, charitable trusts are the best way to avoid taxes with a large estate.
Naturally the kids will be less than thrilled, but of course it’s that very attitude that has me wanting to give most of the money to charity in the first place. I wish they could see that.
More on this soon.

History of software patent law

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

The US has granted patents that may be referred to as  software patent law  as early as the 1970s. Within the European Union software patent law is governed by EPO or the European Patent convention Office and has issued many patents for inventions involving software. In Japan, software patent law allows software-related inventions and is patentable and to qualify for it there must be a creation of technical ideas utilizing a law of nature although this requirement is typically met by concretely realizing the information processing performed by the software by using hardware resources. In India, a clause to include software patents was quashed by the Indian Parliament in 2005.

Factoring home settlement costs into your property budget

Monday, February 4th, 2008

When you purchase a home it is important that you consider the full extent of the costs. Many people do not make allowance for the conveyancing cost. This is the fee that is associated with the transfer of the property title. Usually this is done by a solicitor but the growth of online firms has resulted in many individuals using these services as a cost effective option. The real estate agent also recommends a conveyancing agent should you need a recommendation. This is important to consider because it can throw your budget out if you don’t consider this.
