Makers of Polypropylene RV Cover
Friday, February 22nd, 2008Paper or metal labels identifying the maker of polypropylene rv cover and often his range of business are found on some pieces of English furniture beginning in the early eighteenth century, but the presence of a maker's name alone is rare. An exception is a settee that bears the inscription, in woven yellow letters, "Stranoyer/Bradshaw". It is part of a tapestry-covered suite that was presumably made by the London tapestry weaver and furniture maker William Bradshaw about 1730 for Belton House in Lincolnshire. It is assumed that Tobias Stranover designed the upholstery. He was a painter who specialized in birds, flowers, and still lifes, and from 1730 to 1732 lived in the same house as Bradshaw on Frith Street in London.
