      It’s half fake and half not, the fake part is that he’s not actually playing the song, it’s an app that plays the song for you by just tapping the screen. The real part is that this is a live concert and not a commercial.

      Actually, I don’t think it’s entirely fake. I think the timing of the notes is triggered by his touching of the iPad, but the sequence of the notes is pre-programmed. In other words, he only has to tap it in time, he doesn’t have to hit the proper notes.
