$499 !?!??! That is not cheap… plus you have to buy a ton of apps to make it worthwhile… Its beautiful how now apple has THREE STORES TO SELL YOU CRAP!! Brilliant marketing plan, and link it directly to your credit card so you can spend money without even realizing you’ve just spent another $50.

The ipad is a great idea but what do you do with it when your not using it? You have to carry it round with you like a laptop, you need a case to lug around. It would of been more amazing if it used a bendable screen. Then it could fold in two like the Nintendo DS. You could it put it in your coat pocket this way. Also they could of released another model with a built in pico projector.

It’s happened… the world has officially run out of ideas.. the Nintendo DSi XL, the iPad (oversized iphone), New PsP (oh no wait it’s totally different… it flips…), I kinda want some new handheld things, not bigger ones.

@KrisjeB1990 The hype is because the experience of the OS is much better on a larger screen. It also has Netflix connection, faster hardware, and a better screen.

iPad is worthless if you can’t run Microsoft products on it. I want to run my $1,200 Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Edition, not some cheap $0.99 Apple “apps”.
