Take window coverings for example. Are the size of the slats 3 inch, 2 inch, or 1 inch faux wood blinds? It’s not the quality of the material of cheap faux wood blinds that makes the biggest difference in the overall impact of the design, but the small decisions like the size of the slat that play a crucial role. A smalled size blind can seem a bit tweedy and impertinent, while a thicker blind may add sophhisticated or feel bulbous and heavy.
