A Product Identification Number Is Essential For Recall Procedures!
Monday, October 20th, 2008It seems like almost every product has some sort of product identification number on it these days. As a matter of fact, I was drinking a can of my favorite soda the other day and I noticed it had an identification number on it. I wondered for a minute why on earth would a soda can need to be labeled and entered into identification systems. Then I heard about a recall on several different brands of peanut butter and then it dawned on my. God forbid they ever needed to recall my precious soda but if someone did find a finger in a can of Dr Pepper I sure would like to know if that can came from the same batch as the cold soda I’m enjoying right now.
