Issues With Dental Assistant Careers

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

I need a new career. I’ve been checking out dental assistant careers lately. Looks like a decent prospect. Perhaps a precursor to going to dental school myself.
In particular, I really want to know more about Dental Assistant Colleges. I think it’s worth looking into, seeing as there appears to be a shortage of qualified folks out there.
I’m sick and tired of working where I am, so it’s worth looking into a potential change, at least.
Maybe your comments will help settle it.

online creative writing classes

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

There are a number of different institutions that offer online writing workshops and typing “online creative writing classes” or “online creative writing course” into a web browser will throw up a list of different schools. One of the online writing schools with a solid reputation is the Gotham Writers’ Workshop that have a number of 10 and 6 week workshops that cover the full gamut of creative writing sub-genres including topics such as children’s book writing, science fiction writing, memoir writing, travel writing and mystery writing.

Leader of the pack

Friday, September 19th, 2008

For a long time now I have become more and more convinced that my pointer dog, Maxie, looks upon me as being like a father figure or an older brother. He was always very loyal and loving, but over the last few years, he has become even more so. He seems to want to protect me and sometimes I feel that he is a little jealous of the children and even my wife. He has never shown any aggression towards them, or even close to it. I just feel that he would like me all to himself. I felt that it was responsibility to talk to my family vet about it, so I gave her a call. She told me that what had happened was that the dog, in his own way, had appointed me as leader of the pack, of which my wife and children were also members. She assured me that the dog would never do anything to harm his fellow pack members, but would get a little put out if he felt that anyone else in the “pack” was getting undue attention. I called a family (or pack) conference and we discussed this surprising new development. We all agreed that we would now treat Maxie with the same love and respect that he had been treating us. When I asked the kids if they would also treat me as leader of the pack, they politely declined.

Doing Research On Top Massage Therapy Schools

Friday, September 19th, 2008

I’ve had enough of the rat race. I want to do something positive, something different. So I’m considering a change in career. I’ve been looking at some top massage therapy schools.
It seems like Austin School Of Massage Therapy is a good possibility. It would be best to stay close to home, after all, and I think I can afford it if I tighten my belt.
It seems like the life of a massage therapist would be good for me. I’d be helping people with their health and stress, and I could make my own hours. Freedom is important.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.

Talking About No Cosigner Student Loans

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about No Cosigner Student Loans.
I can’t bear the notion of asking my mom to co-sign on my loans. I want to handle it myself.
Reading up on Deferred No-cosigner No Credit Check Student Loans has been an eye-opener. Discouraging, even.
I can’t even fathom paying back that much debt, but it’s best not to worry about it too much.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.

My Experiences With Gun Safes And Their Accessories

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

So lately I’ve been wondering about
Gun Safes and their Accessories. I’ve run into a bit of a snag in my research, though.

There are a lot of sites that offer at least some info on Winchester Gun Safes, for example. It’s hard to know which to trust, though.
I need to have quick access to my shotguns or pistols in case of an intruder, while keeping them all safe from theft, and from the kids.
At least I know more now than I did.
I’ll keep you posted.

Researching Internet Career Training

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

It’s time for a career change. I’m not sure if I can last even one more day where I am. I’m checking into
Internet Career Training to see if there’s anything out there that would suit me better.
My dad said to check into Online Nursing Classes. As usual, Dad appears to be right. I think there’s good potential there for me to make a shit to a career I’ll like better.
All I know is I can’t stay where I am for much longer.
More on this soon.

Searching For Info On Six Sigma Online

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

I’ve been bugging management lately about Six Sigma Online. I think our company would benefit greatly from Six Sigma Online - we’ve suffered from serious efficiency issues lately.
I’ve been surfing the net looking at options for Lean Six Sigma Certification. It’s not cheap, that’s for sure, but the potential cost savings look like they might justify the price.
If my former business partner’s experience is any indication, Six Sigma Online could really make a big difference for us in terms of the bottom line.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Talking About Document Management Solutions

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about Document Management Solutions.
Our lousy document management system is really starting to eat into our efficiency, and it’s time to make a change.
I’ve done some research on Small Business Document Management over the past few weeks to try and figure out the best solution for our company.
It’s not exactly my idea of a fun time, but hopefully it will save us enough time and money down the line to be worth the effort.
I’m sure I’ll have more to say about this down the line.
