Indulging in Deep Soaking Tubs

Monday, July 28th, 2008

Ah! The luxury of coming home and submerging your aching muscles in a deep soaking tub had seemed a dream even a few months earlier. Not only could I not afford these deep soaking tubs, there was no space for one also in my cramped studio apartment. But thanks to an astonishing raise in my salary, I could finally realize my dream of moving into a more spacious pad and the first thing which I splurged on was a deep soaking tub for my bathroom. Now, I come home after a hectic day and indulge in a long soak in my very own deep soaking tubs!

Counseling psychology masters

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Counseling psychology is a field that deals with the blending of psychological research and theory using therapy. It shows how we can use therapy to change or interpret the psychological processes occurring in somebody’s mind. The US is a good place to pursue a counseling psychology masters because of the sheer variety of schools that are offering post graduate programs. You will want to have gained a certain amount of experience in this field and that is important in determining what to master in. There are different paths to choose from and you would want to choose one that is closely related to your area of work - be it with relationships or individuals.

Considering Stock Investment Newsletters

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

I’ve been looking into
Stock Investment Newsletters lately. A lot of them make pretty scurrilous claims, but there must be some good ones out there.
I’ve been searching all over the Net looking into Stock Market Newsletters. The last thing I need is to spend money on a letter that will lose me even more money, so I’m doing my homework.
Hopefully I’ll be able to find a good one.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Green Bathroom Remodel

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

When it comes to making our homes sustainable it is much easier if we’re doing a complete build than it is if we are looking to adapt an existing dwelling. There is less scope in doing say a green bathroom remodel or green kitchen remodel than there is in designing and building a green home from scratch. Still, there are things that any of us can do to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the long term health of the planet.

A number of software testing products based on Java are available in the market. Apache Jmeter is catching up in the market at a fast pace. The solution is primarily developed for web testing. It has also included features for other types of testing like FTP, JBBC etc for quite some time now. Unlike other software testing tools, this solution allows you to only do monitoring in a limited manner. Only two options are available - response time and throughput. The distributed testing capabilities of this tool are legendary. Being a Java system, this solution is usable multiple platforms.

Will I Reach An Audience? - Business Intelligence

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

I am debating whether to self-publish a book. I have a lot of different ideas but I am concerned about what might sell. With an initial investment of $1500, is important to me that I write something that will reach a receptive audience. I was considering writing a non-fiction book on documenting my knowledge gained while working for Alpena business intelligence. It is actually an interesting subject, but the concern is how to market such a book. Do businesses that use these types of services buy books that are not available in stores? Perhaps I should start with a fiction thriller or something for children and if it becomes successful try my hand at something a bit more technical for a niche market. I am undecided right now; perhaps I should do a bit more research.

Various bamboo roller shades

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

It was a constant problem in my house for the last few months. The house to the west had been demolished to make space for a new one. Now the sun shone straight into my drawing room till sunset. Apart from making the room hot, the strong light was pretty unpleasant. The lace curtains hardly obstructed the light. My sister advised me to get Bamboo Roller Shades for the room. These really solved my problem. Easy to pull down or lift up, these shades cost much less than other blinds. The artistic look has added beauty to my house. I got myself custom made shades in my favorite colors.

If you want to apply for the social security disability programs, there are many ways to do that. You can call the toll free phone number of the social security disability benefits office to make an appointment. After that you will have to appear for a disability claims interview which would last for about an hour. You would receive a disability starter kit that will help you prepare for the claim interview. You can also apply for the benefits through the official social security benefits website. You can also download the starter kit from this website.
