The beauty of broadband service lies in that these multiple channels all function in tandem and therefore allow a smooth flow of data at a higher rate than normal telephone services in which the channel is smaller and the all the frequencies are jostling through for transition. Therefore broadband services are far more efficient in quality of function and quantity of data flowing through which is clearer and quicker.
