Sigma Six

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

I’ve been bugging management lately about sigma six. I think our company would benefit greatly from six sigma programs - we’ve suffered from serious efficiency issues lately.
I’ve settled on a href=”http://www.si6ma.com/six-sigma-green-belt-certification.php”>Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, I think, as the best route for use to get our axct together. It’s expensive, but hopefully the savings it generates will be worth it.
I know that sigma six was instrumental in the turnaround of a friend’s business. Hopefully it can do the same for us.

How Print On Demand Works

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

Book publishing is a multi-million dollar industry. To get your book published, you need to invest some cash yourself. A very good money-saving book publishing method is POD. POD stands for Print On Demand. Print On Demand publishing is a method of producing books in specific quantities needed to meet ongoing buyer orders. Basically, your book is only printed when ordered, which saves publishing companies a lot of money, but at the same time it involves a higher setup fee. The person wanting to buy the book creates the demand for a single copy. As a result, a single copy of that book is printed on demand, perfect bound with a full color laminated cover, and shipped to the customer or the bookstore ordering the POD book.
